- The Society shall be known as the Persatuan Kebangsaan bagi Pengairan dan Saliran Malaysia (MANCID).
- Its registered place of business shall be the Headoffice of the Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran Malaysia, Jalan Sultan Salahuddin, 50626 Kuala Lumpur or at such other place or places as may from time to time decided on by the Executive Committee, and its postal address hall be c/o Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran Malaysia, Jalan Sultan Salahuddin, 50626 Kuala Lumpur. The registered place of business of the Society shall not be changed without the prior approval of the Registrar of Societies.
- The logo conveys the role of irrigation and drainage towards agriculture. The symbols are enclosed in a circular field symbolizing the global nature of the society. Underscoring the theme of productivity, the plant is created as a generic symbol to convey message of a food crop. The plant is growing from the water and the soil, representing sustainable agriculture. The undulating lines on the left create an image of water draining to a group of straight lines on the right which allude to soil, or land. The green background symbolizes ecological harmony, while the white leaves evoke a feeling of peace and tranquility
